With generative AI support in Vertex AI, enterprises can tune Codey, a family of code models built on PaLM 2, using their own code base. Today, these customized Codey models are available in Vertex AI, and later this year, they will be connected to the Duet AI experience. Any code that’s used to tune Codey will be kept private, and won’t be used in the broader foundation model training corpus. Plus, users will have transparency and control over where data is stored and how or if it is used.
