Driving Emotion Type S was developed by Escape, a subsidiary of Square. Published in Japan on 30th March, 2000, it was Square's first release for the Sony PlayStation 2.

Apparently the original Japan release had even worse handling than the international versions which released in 2001, with revised controls and additional content. I'm going to suggest that you don't let the cars and graphics fool you, this is one game not worth trying yourself due to the frustrating handling physics. I had to edit the sensitivity and dead zones for the analogue stick so I could play somewhat consistently.

This is a full 100% playthrough of all gameplay elements via the PCSX2 emulator for Sony PlayStation 2. Time stamps below for specific parts. No commentary.
