13I've always found it hard to design puzzles around game elements that have such complex behavior. Each little choice when interacting with this one single thing can make a big difference, far into the future. I'm guessing that's part of the reason that a lot of these solutions involve generous wiggle room, because there's such a huge number of states the puzzle can be in.
