The Drone marketplace is a new addition to rust to trade with players and NPCs across the map without the risk of losing items in return for a 20 scrap delivery fee. In the future, drones might become vulnerable to the elements, buildable, or hackable. However, drones provide a safe and guaranteed delivery service for players in safe zones. This gives you more of an incentive as a new player to build nearby the outpost or bandit camp so you can quickly purchase items from around the map without risking your life.
