It's known as a black light display.

Five drummers, perfectly in time, creating a spectacular - and very loud - show of military musical precision.

In the boxing ring at Episkopi Garrison in Cyprus five drummers from the 1st Battalion Duke of Lancaster's Regiment corps of drums performed their version of the British Army's Victory Beat.

On bass drum was Corporal Leon Smith, the acting Drum Major. In the centre of the ring playing their side drums were Lance Corporal Jack Grimwood plus Drummers Kieran Norris and Jason Gate.

The fourth drummer was Rob Bell. He acts as the "tipper" - the lead percussionist whom the other's follow.

As well as serving in 1 LANCS Corps of Drums, the soldiers are also members of Somme Company's pioneer platoon.

To call themselves a drummer each soldier must undergo six months of musical training at Infantry Training Centre Catterick.

Performing the Victory Beat to this standard takes another six months of intensive training.
