EDIT: This video comparison may actually be flawed. The fact that the plane crashes in the first demo makes me think that it was actually using high-level emulation for the DSP-1, which would mean that the second video wasn't actually using the patched data ROM.

"For those unaware: in both the DSP-1/1A (same code on both) and DSP-1B, there is an incorrect value in the power-of-2 denormalization table used for soft floating point in the DSP-1 UPD7725 Data ROM, at word offset 0x3c: 0x0001 should be 0x0010, and this causes weird effects."
Video on the left is the original, unmodified dsp1.bin, video on the right incorporates this fix.
