In this video I discuss an idea I have for Proletariat to add to Spellbreak. In the past during the alpha/beta, Spellbreak allowed players to pick up two of the same gauntlet. Having two of the same gauntlet wasn't a desired option because the game was built around combing two different elements together to produce certain effects. When you had two of the same gauntlets equipped, you could only cast the standard attack and the sorceries more than one time. This wasn't a desirable way to equip your character back then. So, my suggestion is to make duel wielding an ability that can enhance each class and at the same time add another great reason to run Spellslinger. You wouldn't need Spellslinger if you wanted to equip two of the same gauntlets, but you could use Spellslinger to switch to duel wield from a single gauntlet setup and hold your other gauntlet. I share my ideas for each class and what duel wielding could possibly do to change the player experience! Some classes would gain a CC effect, others would gain a different attack mode, but this addition could add new strategies and gameplay styles to Dominion. The ability to duel wield in Battle Royale Mode would also change the Battle Royale Experience because of the added CC and newly added offensive abilities that expand the classes already in the game! Adding a new gauntlet or class would also become very exciting and players would be looking forward to trying the new class as a single gauntlet and duel wield mode.
