Dueling Digits (https://www.mobygames.com/game/apple2/dueling-digits) was an educational action game published by Broderbund in 1982 for the Apple ][. Players need to shoot at floating symbols on the screen to create math expression, or shoot at each other to terminate the game when the 10 lives expire. The game uses a similar copy protection as Choplifter that reads data at full tracks and half tracks, as you can hear in the unique disk drive sound in the boot sequence.
