This is a true story on how I got to be part of Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition, While I was playing Duke Nukem 3D with a friend of mine on yang we found out that Duke Nukem Megaton Edition was coming to steam, I went ahead and downloaded Steam, I waited for the game release it comes out and has the atomic edition with the add on's, but with no online support yet cause the dev was still working on it, couple weeks go by Megaton Edition gets it online support but it was really really bad and I do mean really bad, out of sync issues and such took them like 4 updates just to get the online to work good, while me and a friend of mine were trying to do let's play we ran into so many issues like the one shot kill you could have 200 health and 100 body armor and the weakest enemy would kill instant your suppose to take like 5 damage from that alien, anyway I'm on Duke.net and somehow the dev of megaton edition found me proply cause I was using the same name The Duke Returns, He asked me if I wanted to testplay the expanions on Megaton for online support I got so excited and I lost my mind he also said I needed two other people I knew who to picked NukemDave agood map maker and MrRumbleRoses a good tester also he dirt bag on what he did to me on megaton if your going to ask on what he did to me nothing bad didn't backstab me he shrink me and step on me and I lost all my weapons that I collected,

anyway I don't remember on which eps we started first but we made sure they were good and I do mean good, if you have megaton edition latest look at nuclear winter first 2 levels go outside and check out the walls outside then go and check them out in Megaton Edition 1.0 you will see it go towards the wall and you find out hehe,

There was some problems doing testing we couldn't have an 8 man team cause the dev said no which also cause a problem later, then we later found on Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Forums that one of the levels spawn points 4 5 6 7 8 spawn points were spawning them in the wrong location, they are suppose to spawn by the rest of the team, we 3 found 5 other people to test out the spawn points for the eps I do remember 2 of them Duke64Nukem and StarCraftZerg,

Later doing my playtime on Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition while I was looking for duke match saw someone played against them and they ragequit couldn't find anyone after that I go ok I just play alittle single player, I went and started the first level hollowood I spawn dead on the roof and I went what the heck. I quit the level went into eps 2 level 1 and samething happens I quit the game fully went back into the game started level 1 and everything was normal, I told MrRumblesRoses on what happened and he said it proply a one time thing and knowing me I wanted to make sure it was a one time thing, what we did we started a duke match since that what I first did that day looking for someone to play against I told rose I played a 1v1 killed the guy 5 times and he rage quited
so what he did is quit the game and I went into single player and boom did it again, The bug appeared again I told the dev about it and they said ok later on they had an update coming but the bug wasn't even on that list
I went hey the bug is still in the game is it going to be patch, afew weeks go by they have another update come out, of course me and rose test to see if the bug is still there and it was there


What the bug I'm talking about well it like this every level is broken you die as soon as the level starts and random things will happen to you, like what you see in the video


I started to get a little PO at the Devs of Megaton Edition dev remove us from his list saying the game is finished and that really burn the wrong way

I later reply to him you called that finish the bug is still in the game told you like 3 times already every update you release and nothing changed

also some of the people who help us weren't even credit in the game like StarCraftZerg he was with us the whole time all 3 expansions

I'm just going to say this I wanted Megaton Edition it be better then EDuke32 I wanted to destory EDuke32 but the devs were holding Duke Nukem 3D Megaton back and not giving it a full treatment, they weren't going 100 percent but now I understand the dev team for the game was very small and you won't believe me on how many there were working on it ........ 1 1 Dev and 3 testers but was really 8 testers 5 of them not be credited

I had to cut some writing down anyway I had fun testing megaton edition also it is it 10 birthday this year so I'm going to go party and play me some duke 3d see ya later.
