0:00 Elevator Tip:
Typically in this section, you'd be inclined to constantly pull the lever to slow down the elevator, but you can instead let it drop to a certain point, then start braking. I typically count to 12~ in my head, then pull the brakes. It's a free 10~ second time save.
1:26 Teleport Knock-back Trick:
This is a trick in the sense that it throws you out of bounds, puts you closer to enemies spawning and let's you clear them faster. Nothing major, but can save you a 15 seconds. (Note that it's mostly frame perfect on where you stand so you get sent flying in the right direction.)
2:41 The Portable Toilet & Trailer House Skip:
Typically at the end of this event, the container you're standing in falls and you have to destroy a lock on a gate to trigger the next zone to spawn. Instead of doing all that, we can skip through to the part where we destroy the lock on the gate with a grenade, get the checkpoint, and load into the next zone.
The Trailer House Skip is as simple, jumping over the gate saves you the time of going inside the trailer house and fighting waves of enemies.
3:42 The Helicopter Skip
You can jump out onto an invisible ledge, crouch past the helicopter, and triggering the next loading zone. Load and you're done.
4:34 Kitchen Tricks and Skips
Killing this enemy in this position makes him fall as such, and you can just climb it, and essentially skip the whole area, without having to kill anything more.
Directly after the shelving area, you enter the flooded kitchen. If you jump at regular intervals, you can minimize and avoid a lot of the damage in the water and just jump directly to the end of this section.
6:01 Gas Canister Trick #1
Nothing major here, but you can jump over the fence instead of killing the enemies and jump into the void after getting the gas canister to spawn directly back in your truck.
6:54 The Holo Barn Skip
This 3-part skip is the biggest time save in the run, and also the most difficult. Using the holo duke decoy item, you can skip this whole section. (Note that you can also stack the flammable barrels to reach the top of the barn, although takes more time) This trick involves throwing down your holo duke on the ground, moving forward until you're standing directly on the center of it, while having the directions you want to be thrown pressed and held, exactly as you get thrown upwards. I press and hold (S, D on the first frame of the jump, then A,W to loop around to the top, otherwise you hit the edge of the barn roof). Once you reach the top of the roof, you can get inside, grab the gas canister which triggers the next loading zone.
7:43 Ghost Town Skip
Here in part 2, by stacking the flammable barrels in this location, you can jump over out of this whole section and just walk to the next zone, skipping the need to use your gas canister on the truck and saving it for the next time.
9:17 Mines Skip
Part 3 of the skip, once you reach the mines section. This is where the spared gas canister comes into play, enabling you to skip a large section involving waves of enemies and going down into the mines for the next gas canister.
10:12 Power Fence Skip & Octas
This jump here lets you jump over a trigger that spawns waves of enemies, skipping them instead. For the next part with the stationary mini gun, if you just click really really fast with your mouse to shoot, you can essentially fire at double the rate, and potentially have infinite ammo and never overheat.
11:42 Forklift Skip/Tip
Nothing major here, but jumping from this position lets you skip having to go use the forklift. Saves
12:49 Toolbox Tip
Minor tip. Making the Toolbox fall with a grenade let's you skip running around to the top to push it down.
13:14 Octaking Holo Skip
The second, most difficult skip of the run, with the same principle as the barn skip. Let's you skip the whole event leading to the Octaking boss, boss included.
14:00 Clarifier Barrels Skip
By stacking 2 barrels in this location, you can skip fighting waves of enemies and having to use the forklift.
15:30 Explorations
Extra out of bounds discovery, just because.
