This is $5 DLC (or comes with the season pass) that gives you a difficulty above Survival that claims to make the AI more aggressive and smart. It doesn't fucking do that. You are paying $5 for no HUD and less item drops. The human AI is still stupid and always will be.

Doing difficulty modes like this only compounds the problems the game has. When you are forced to play this slowly you really get to see how badly the enemies react, or rather, not reacting to walking over their dumb friends' dead body. The game is still best when you play on Normal so you have plenty of weapon variety and encounters don't last long enough to show the lack of proper enemy AI.
