DUNG DARACH (ZX SPECTRUM - FULL GAME)
26Zeus presents Dung Darach (un-emulated) for the ZX Spectrum, a brilliant homebrew game from the current era of spectrum gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the programmer that was involved in making this game.
Year of release: 2013
First there was Thunderturds (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFzpsi_kXQo), now we have the second game in the turd trilogy Dung Durach and WHAT A GAME!!!
In this game you take control of Dung Beetle and his mission is to get to level 20 and deal with the Hippo that has been shitting all over the town parks and to do this you must progress through each level by manoeuvring the 3 pieces of poo around the screen to the two pieces of bun and make a turd burger, and if successful a huge YEAAAH!!! will be shouted by Mark Dung Beatle.
Power pills pop up above the burger in the centre of the screen which either replenish your energy or even turn all the baddies into fruit which when collected gains you points but beware the baddies soon come back and once you get to level 10 you will have to stay well away from the death beetle which will eat your brains out, once you get to level 15 there will be 2 of them to avoid!
This is a brilliant game with wonderful characters and use of colours without any colour clash at all, a wonderful homebrew game by Death Squad and one of my crowning achievements to complete it without cheats :-D
Check out the third and final game in the turd trilogy,...R-Swype, this is where you must defeat the evil Jimmy Savile lol, it will be uploaded here in just a few days!
