Previously, in Dungeon Breaker:

Aspiring monster tamer Alec and his childhood friend Tina have traveled to the capital to visit Tina's older sister Karen, an accomplished monster tamer. The city has its share of interesting characters, including Claíomh, a frighteningly intense young woman who runs a weapons shop, and Leen, a cheerful young angel-like monster girl who feigns humanity and runs an item shop. But while they're here, Karen's patron, the "forgotten princess" Celsia, has suggested they go training in some ruins in the area that Karen has been investigating.

A lot has happened since then. Tina has been revealed to be adopted and a special type of rare monster. The king has taken over as primary antagonist, kidnapped Tina, and now seeks to awaken a fearsome sealed power in hopes of defying death.

Further into the labyrinth, Alec finds a group of four knights losing to the multi-armed giant from the second layer of the ruins. They're impressed when he beats it, and offer to put in a good word with the knights if he ever wants to join. Healer tends to their wounds, and Samurai Master, impressed with their spirit, offers to avenge them, to which they respond that they're not dead yet.

While the party advances, the king and Jade are making preparations for the ritual to become the reborn godlike. To complete the ritual, they need the Crystal of Ra Valtiana, a divine beast, and a virgin sacrifice. As they turn toward the Vel Marcs, Gail finally realizes he and Sorsha are just being used. Sorsha is wrapped in naughty tentacles and dragged into the spell in progress. Desperate to save her, Gail summons every monster he has available, but the king just uses the crystal to dispel his pacts, and after pausing briefly, they turn on their former master.

Towards the far end of the labyrinth, Prie saves an eager but foolhardy knight from the fire breath of the dragon from the third layer of the ruins. Alec's party takes down that dragon again, and the knight want to help, but his horse has been reduced to ashes, and between that and seeing Twintail's sharp reaction when he touches her hair, he decides Alec has all the help he needs. Antenna Mage wants to strip the dragon's scales to use as magic catalysts, but they don't have nearly enough time for that, so she reluctantly leaves it behind.

Roy shows up again just before the healing point at the far end, helping to deal with the monsters. Alec spots Gail on the ground nearby, and asks Roy to get him to safety; he doesn't like the guy, but he doesn't wish death on him, either. Before passing out, Gail pleads with Alec to save his sister, the only family he has left, and warns him about the king's ability to dispel pacts. Prie assures him that she'll protect him regardless. Before leaving, Roy lends Alec the holy sword ルヴァンティン (Luvanteinn, presumably based on Lævateinn), a priceless relic received directly from the leader of the church. In a rare serious tone, he insists that Alec make sure to return it.

I'm also taking notes to keep a running log of events and characters, though note that there may be spoilers if you haven't watched the most recent video: http://kwhazit.infinityfreeapp.com/trans/breaker/dngBrkr1.html
