Altar of Infinity is located in the Valley of Fallen Souls and opens up at level 60. You can play solo or in a party. It's a gauntlet type area where you take on waves of enemies and get points, use these points to upgrade certain stats. Since I'm playing Dark Templar/Dark Empress I upgraded intelligence.

The first two rooms have varying enemy types, sometimes it'll be slimes in the first room, other times it will be lugarus or spiders. At the end of each wave is a boss. The last boss and room is always the same though, it will always be zombies/undead and Chaos Agares as the last boss.

Chaos Agares is kind of annoying. He'll retreat to heal if you knock him low enough on HP but he can only do this once. I've managed to kill him before he can do that on other classes. Just dodge his attacks but if you get hit by the fireballs you can pass them onto the zombies by making contact with them. Otherwise it'll keep hurting you a LOT.

If things are going bad, you can use your points to heal HP and MP too provided you've saved it up. It can be a good idea.

This run was pretty smooth though, not the fastest. It's odd, on runs where I get hit more it somehow takes less time. None the less I prefer this run to upload since I avoided Chaos's attacks pretty well.

I also HATE when he pulls you into a portal after already being dead lol. Chaos Agares is a jerk.

DFO is free to play and now is a really good time to start playing with F.Slayer out and all the end game content of Saint Horn too. And we're going to of course get more content too. It might be down for maintenance at the time of this upload though.

Lastly, you may eventually get sick of this place but it can be good to run daily and when you level up. You get 3 more entry opportunities upon each level up. While the exp isn't the greatest it still adds up to about 10%.
