Dungeon Screener is a dungeon crawler with a randomly generated enemies and dungeon layout. The players lead a four-man party comprised of a regular RPG mix-up: Knight, Ranger, Wizard, and Cleric, which need to be used for exploring a dungeon and fighting all the creatures they find in there.

Interestingly, the game uses a complex system of AD&D defense and attack calculations, like this Dungeon Screener gameplay video shows. From the individual fights, the players can get loot in the form of weapons, spells, coins and cards which provide the party with a passive deck of improvements, including for a party member resurrection and many other types of bonuses. Between Dungeon Screener levels, they party can rest and replenish their strenght before continuing.

Basically, the Dungeon Screener gameplay represents a compacted classic RPG experience, including the pixel graphics and the 80's art direction.
