Tomb Heroes is an endless free-to-play shooter game made by ZPLAY games and it's a really engaging title. Endless games are notoriously difficult for any prolonged gameplay design solutions, but this one has it in the bag - the players begins as a character wielding a gun inside of a dungeon-type of place, who is being attacked from both sides (left and right, the game is 3D graphics set in a 2D environment). The first big hook of the Tomb Heroes gameplay is the way controls work - players can tap left or right, which makes the character shoot that way, but jump in the opposite direction.
This double-effect command is simple to understand, but hard to master, especially when it comes to the moving and avoiding of the enemies and traps. Additionally, there are bonuses and an in-game currency that can be used for unlocking new skins for the player - this video showcases the cowboy character outfit. Once the game begins, this system quickly gets under your skin, along with the need to play more.
When the cool gameplay mechanics is combined with nice graphics, sensible progress system, and a great character design, it's clear that Tomb Heroes is a fine endless arcade Android game.
