0Let's Play Dungeon Siege! Fresh out of the Crystal Cavern, we head into the next dungeon, which might be the Subterranean River, I dunno, they weren't real clear about the names of the locations you visit. Every Dungeon Siege area has essentially two kinds of enemies: actual threats, and swarm monsters that draw fire away from those threats... this area has some of the most memorable distraction enemies: crystal formations that zap you with a Tesla-coil-like electric discharge effect. It looks cool, it totally breaks the medieval immersion, and it's not a particularly fun or meaningful area... But Dungeon Siege is like a Crookes radiometer: the bright spots are *very* bright, and the dim in-between is necessary to make you appreciate those bright spots.
