The characters:
Eao Dunwich, Street Magician Rogue. A human who grew up alone on the streets of the Sundered City, she's experienced a city wounded by civil war and still healing. Quickly falling in with a cadre of thieves operating out of the Mulch, Eao is a shrewd thief and a quick-fingered street magician. Her mastery of the art of misdirection has her enemies feinting left as she strikes right. Now she finds herself thrust uneasily into the corridors of power, as the Guild of Icons leader, and the Sundered City's marshal.
Grounded, Rogue Phantom. A Tiefling orphan raised by the Aaracokra on the crumbling spire of Wark, she spent most of her youth working as a guide in the Glarus cold desert. She's an expert climber and loves high perches and rock-climbing. After a close encounter with death, she hears the spirits of those long past clinging to her soul, guiding her forward. Now, having made a deal with a hag for tea leaves, something else resides within her too...
Hannah Del'Haemr, Paladin of the Crown. A paladin of the Quarrelling Lovers, the dual gods of order and chaos, Hannah is not an official member of the Guild of Icons. Instead, she finds herself seconded to them by Merrifryth. Originally tasked with escorting the guild to Cantlore, she is now caught up in their machinations, and on the run from powerful forces.
Gargoyle, Armourer Artificer. A nervous owlin engineer on secondment to Cantlore, his natural curiosity has gotten the best of him, and now he finds himself on the run, hunted with the criminals he calls friends.
