Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom - Shadow Elf Loop
5A little variation of an oil loop from たいよー (yoiter_cape). Not a guaranteed loop (gap between Continual Light and first oil toss) but after that point you can loop him to death without having to worry about "Haste!".
Continual Light is needed to start the loop and 4 or more oils to finish off the Shadow Elf depending on damage rolls. The jumps are needed after the using oil to re-position without having to walk around your own burning oil. Alternatively, you can just face the direction you want the Shadow Elf to bounce after tossing every oil (he will always catch fire and bounce the direction your character is facing) to make sure you never accidentally push him off screen and out of reach.
Works with similarly with every character but since the Elf tosses sub weapons very slowly (even after a Continual Light) it's much easier to start the loop with Invisibility instead.
Also works on the 2nd Shadow Elf encounter, but I recommend clearing out the skeletons first (limited spawn). The start to this loop is a little tricky; you'll have to wait for a teleport/leap/dive attack from the Shadow Elf before using Continual Light since the fight begins with him further away than the first encounter. Just make sure not to bounce him off screen after burning him with your oil!
