Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun is a criminally underrated RPG developed by Westwood Associates and released exclusively for the SEGA Genesis in 1992. It's truly one of the BEST pre Baldur's Gate D&D games.
It is based on the AD&D (pre 2nd Edition) ruleset and follows the core rules very closely. It features turn based isometric combat in the overworld, and first person real time dungeons, all automapped as you progress.

It is the only D&D game to feature the superb and exotic Hollow World campaign setting, and while having many familiar foes, it also has enemies such as Blacklore Elves, Azcans, beastmen, Malpheggi Lizardfolk, and even dinosaurs!

This gameplay footage is from fairly early game, about 6-7 hours into the game, with current characters being level 5-6.

Depending on the condition of the cart, box, and documentation, the game currently sells for between 40 and 80 dollars at retail.
