I could not beat Dredmor or Digula with melee even though I had very high defense and armor. Do not even try it as Warrior. You could kill him easily by just petrifying and then using 15 Clockwork Drill Bombs, I was just messing around.

Few tips for Digula:
- Use either holy or penetrating attacks
- Equip a shield that will reflect some of the spells (helped a little)
- Used ranged attack (Clockwork Drill Bomb)
- Teleport or turn invisible if he is too close
- Lock his movement (I used petrify which was bit overpowered here / use something similar or maybe even silence)
