Here's a pretty obscure MS-DOS FPS from 1995 that you'd probably find on one of those 1000+ games shareware/shovelware compilations from back then. This was made by a Russian dev, and some of the English translations are bonkers. As far as the game itself, it's pretty generic and very short, clocking in at a grand total of... wait for it... *THREE* levels. However, those three levels are very tedious to get through, especially the second level. There's a spoiler for part two! For now, though, let's check out the first and probably the easiest level of the three, the Palace of Evil.

Oh, and about those doors: I think it's a DOSBox thing. Also, this is the only game I can remember playing off the top of my head where your health is counted in years of life. Or maybe it's those hilarious mistranslations again.
