So that Medora Direnni—whose chambers smell of mildew, musty scrolls, and feline dander—could brew her Dust of Restful Death in peace? I've seen liches with better hospitality.
And now? Now I'm neck-deep in some forgotten crypt, stumbling over mummies and slipping on vampire entrails, all in service to a dead man who won't even scream at me. Lysandus, you howled your head off in Daggerfall proper—could you not toss your favorite adventurer a single moan down here in your crusty, off-the-books tomb?
My coinpurse nearly burst on the road out here. I had to dump so much gold into the Bank of Sentinel I nearly bought the damn place. But tell me this—what’s all the wealth in the Iliac Bay worth when you're lost, hungover, and left shouting at skeletons in a place not even the worms remember?
Tonight, we go deeper. We find Lysandus. We find vengeance. Or I swear to Azura, I’m haunting this damn mound myself.
