411Dying Light 2 NEW UPDATE – What’s New In The First FREE DLC. In the Footsteps of a nightrunner Chapter 1. Dying Light 2 gameplay of the new update which brings a new zombie types, weapons, outfits, missions, and more.
Dying Light 2 new update what’s new in the first DLC Chapter 1 in the footsteps of a nightrunner.
There’s a new store which has new missions, weapons, outfits (Hooded Nightrunner outfit and Elite Nightrunner outfit), and consumables in the store.
Where’s Harper and the new store? You’ll find a new npc called Harper, who’s a former nightrunner, located above your stash at the fish eye, which brings new missions, and a new store.
What’s New:
There’s a new rank system and unlockables – Complete tasks which earns reputation points, and unlock weapons, outfits, and consumables in the store.
Daily and weekly bounties – Which earns reputation points that allows you to unlock new missions.
2 New currencies – Mutation samples and Harper’s tokens, which are used to buy new items.
New enemies - There’s two new zombie types – Volatile Hives which can be found in dark hollows, and completed GRE Quantines, and Volatile Tyrants – which rarely appear on rooftops.
Chapter Missions – Once your rank is high enough from doing daily and weekly bounties, you can unlock main chapter mission tickets which are time trials.
Chapter events – This is a community based goal, the current one being collecting mutation samples for the launch event, which is also one of our weekly bounties, as you can see on the right side.
Photo mode – Press options and then go to photo mode.
Bounties and vendor items:
Bounties: finding banshees, getting a rare or higher rarity crystal core at a dark hollow, killing a bolter with fall damage, killing a spitter using a takedown, and killing a volatile during a level 4 chase
Weekly Bounties: Killing special infected at night to get mutation samples, destroying volatile hives which are in dark hollows, and completed GRE quarantines, and destroying volatile tyrants, which come out every once in a while on rooftops.
Vendor Items: New weapons, gear, consumables, accessories, resources, outfits, and charms, such as brawler gear, slashing weapons, nightrunner claws, Immunity mixtures, UV flares, an electric mine, a pack of military medits, a pack with craft parts, infected trophies, a pack with crystals, rubber duck and a nightrunner hook charm, cobra paraglider, hooded nightrunner outfit, nightrunner paraglider, and elite nightrunner outfit.
