Dying Light, the latest game from Dead Island developer Techland and WB Interactive, is a first-person free running action survival horror game with zombies. It has a dynamic open world, with a day and night cycle. The game allows weapon crafting and has free running/parkour mechanics. During the day, players will have to scurry around the urban environment salvaging anything they can come across, because at night is when the infected become extremely aggressive and dangerous. Dying Light was released January 27, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
Dying Light is an action survival game presented in first-person perspective. The game is set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, the hunter becomes the prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression - but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their nests to feed. You will need to make use of all your skills and any available means to survive till dawn.
In the quarantined city of Harran, survivors of an outbreak fight to survive against aggressive zombie-like creatures known as "the Infected". The city, broken up into at least two factions' --- Runners and Bandits --- scramble to take what they can in name of their own groups survival when Kyle Crane, an "undercover operative", enters the infected zone and lands in the middle of their conflict.
