SCP-XXXX is to be provided with basic amenities, including a bed, a chair, and a table, to maintain its well-being. Any requests made by SCP-XXXX for additional items or changes in its containment environment are to be approved by the Site Director on a case-by-case basis.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity of indeterminate age, sex, and origin. It measures approximately 1.8 meters in height and possesses a generally unremarkable appearance. SCP-XXXX is always observed walking in front of any sentient being it encounters, moving at a slightly slower pace than the person it is "leading." The speed at which SCP-XXXX moves is approximately 10% slower than the walking speed of the individual it is preceding.

This anomalous property extends to any sentient being with the capacity to perceive and follow SCP-XXXX, regardless of whether they are aware of SCP-XXXX's presence or not. This leads to a continuous and often distressing experience for the affected individuals, who report a sense of being followed and an inability to overtake or escape from SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX appears to be generally non-hostile and does not exhibit any aggressive behavior. In fact, it shows no interest in interacting with individuals or its environment beyond its compulsion to always be in front. When left to its own devices, SCP-XXXX will simply continue walking within its containment chamber.

All attempts to communicate with SCP-XXXX have been met with silence, and it does not respond to verbal or written cues. The entity is uncooperative during psychological evaluations, often appearing disinterested in the proceedings.

Addendum - Incident XXXX-A:

On ██/██/20██, during a routine inspection, a containment breach occurred due to an oversight in SCP-XXXX's chamber security protocol. Several personnel made accidental direct visual contact with SCP-XXXX. This resulted in an unexpected reaction from SCP-XXXX, causing a sudden acceleration in its movement. Affected personnel reported extreme distress and panic as they were unable to escape SCP-XXXX's immediate presence.

Security personnel successfully recontained SCP-XXXX after a containment breach alarm was triggered. In the aftermath, all affected personnel experienced severe psychological trauma, with symptoms including insomnia, anxiety, and paranoia. Several individuals developed a strong fixation on SCP-XXXX and reported recurring nightmares involving the entity.

As a result of Incident XXXX-A, the containment procedures were revised, and the prohibition of direct visual contact was reinforced.

Research into the origins and nature of SCP-XXXX is ongoing. Further study is required to determine the cause of its anomalous behavior and its long-term effects on individuals who have had prolonged exposure to it.
