Dying, Wounded, and Recovery Checks: Was it always so Deadly (or was I playing it wrong)?
So there has always been a bit of ambiguity in how Dying, Wounded, and Recovery Checks have been written and I know that I have been playing with the less punishing rules in my games. The Remaster included two parenthetical comments in Recovery Checks that removes most of the ambiguity so lets take a look at them, how the Pre-Remaster interpretation came to be, and what it might mean for your games going forward.
This is all my opinion but I hope it clarifies the situation or gives you information to make your own decisions.
