- Analysis:
Judging from the looks of his moveset, Pang Tong has some wonky movesets with only C5 EX being usable. While true to some extent, Pang Tong can be just as effective, if not more, if he chains specific movesets successfully. Unfortunately, all of his charges are all heavily frontal-based, meaning he will often rely on Switch Attack for 360 degree crowd controls to not get swarmed. It isn't bad to rely on it heavily, but it doesn't have the biggest hitbox.

Aside from the movesets, Pang Tong possess a Musou 1 that is more than capable of annihilating things left and right. It is a more difficult Musou to get a combo with than most standard Musou which is key for a damaging Musou.

Pang Tong's most valuable moveset is his Switch Attack, handy and abusable in nearly all situations. There is a minor, but interesting note to make about his Switch Attack: when characters successfully switch their weapon (meaning the Weapon 1 & 2 icon has switched), they are usually no longer invincible and their weapon attributes on the SWITCHED weapon don't trigger (Induction, Explosive, etc.), but Pang Tong does. So no matter how Pang Tong switches up his weapon, Induction + Explosive will always trigger. The only real difference will only be early vs late activation.

=====

- OPTIONAL C3 and C5 EX offense:

His Switch Attack is a good combo starter for his charges and even his Musou 1. His most notable charges are C3 and C5 EX because they are most useful and are 100% blockable by nature without the assist of Switch Attack. Both C3 and C5 EX are particularly good at frontal scenarios, but:

If manipulated properly, C3 is a good moveset to trick enemies and take advantage of their AI. After a Switch Attack, enemies will somersault backwards with enough distance to make the initial queue up animations of C3 "miss". This is good, as C3 is a "passive" multi-framed moveset. A passive multi-framed moveset has a tendency to fool enemies and let them make believe that you are "passive" or "not" attacking them because your character is finished performing a moveset that continues multiple frames. During this moment, enemies will try to attack you, but will walk right into your multi-framed moveset.

When enemies get tricked by C3, Pang Tong can walk up there and re-perform multiple C3 again for the KO. Good for locking generic enemies in one v one situations without having to waste Musou.

C5 EX, while it does outclass C3 in near-all aspects, it's not always executable friendly. The utility that C5 EX provide that C3 cannot is high combo refills through its wide pivot crowd control. C5 EX by itself has high burst and total damage when applied. Use this move when there are minimum shield peons and archers around Pang Tong to maximize it's execution.

====

Musou 1 is blockable and has a small, but consistent grab box if it is performed in a specific way (without walls). Again, Switch Attack or C1 are great ways to start up his Musou. When "controlling" his Musou for the full-hit, don't touch the analog (at least for the PS3). Let the Musou just go straight and drag the enemies that get dragged along with it. This is, in my opinion, the most consistent method for a full-hit because Pang Tong travels really fast for the enemies to even catch up. Its actually amazing that he is able to drag enemies by a margin despite traveling so fast.

Because of Pang Tong's high in safety Switch Attack offense, he technically shouldn't need to Rage induce for safety but to kill tougher enemies or things faster, therefore, he can refill casually and get through stages without having to worry.

If Pang Tong gets worn down or BS'd out from something, Musou 2 can be used to restore Health and guard break the vicinity (not shown in the video). Pang Tong doesn't have Jubilation to restore Health in the Induction + Explosive weapon so he doesn't have to switch weapon to do so because of this Musou. Though if the situations aren't dire, switching weapon for Jubilation is still recommended just to bank his Musou for moments like 10:31 ...

It really goes to show why I hate these type of "angle-shifting" camera events/scenes.
