This is not a remake. It is a re-release. And yet the games have less stability than just playing the disc versions on modern hardware. It is so bad that both versions should be considered entirely unplayable, as primary issues deal with save files corrupting, erasing key elements of themselves and crashes to a point where the games will not run.
