With The Sims 5 on the horizon, it's time to talk about EA and their love of money. The Sims 5 is in development and many job posts mention that they want people who specialize in mobile and subscription based monetization. The Sims 5 news is that this game is going to be full of paid for DLC and maybe microtransactions and this stuff if going to be baked into the development of the Sims 5. Sims 5 is rumored to be multiplayer and online, so expect lots of fun surprise mechanics and paid kit sized DLC. Sims 5, coming out of the gate, with these monetization practices are only going to hurt the community and it will affect sales. Maybe EA will tone it back or maybe they won't. After all, EA doesn't care about you. The Sim Gurus don't care about you. They only care about the money you give them. Just wait for the announcement of the Sims 5 and all the fulfilling gameplay options that you can buy and be nickel and dimed for. I promise you, if EA keeps down the path that they are on, it will make the $1000 Sims 4 DLC look like a deal. Greed begets greed and there is never enough.

Right now, there is no release date for the Sims 5. The CEO and other high ranking officials at EA haven't mentioned much about the game recently, so that could be a good thing or a bad thing. If they aren't singing the praises of a new game to the shareholders, then maybe development isn't going as planned or the game has even been delayed. Considering that the CEO can't wait to tell the shareholders the good news about their next money maker, I'd expect some more Sims 5 leaks before release. This isn't Sims 5 speculation. Everything we know about The Sims 5 is found on job postings and straight from the CEO of EA so it is a legit source. As for the launch of The Sims 5, I'd expect it soon considering people are becoming disinterested and unhappy with The Sims 4.

I know a lot of people are excited for The Sims 5 but please don't be hoodwinked into watching those fake official trailers for the game. They aren't real and are made to harvest ad revenue for the people who made them. They don't know what the game will be like, the art style or anything about the gameplay. Please stop falling for their tricks and giving them views.
