I decided while getting ready for my Trip to Savannah in October of 2022, that I was curious about art…Specifically watercolors…I was cleaning and found some old clearance Crayola watercolors…and then I started going through my old art pieces and had a thought….
What if I could teach myself watercolors…What if I could document that journey and take my viewers with me through out that process.
I have been doing live streams, but I thought that these kinds of short vids would be best for YT.
One of things that I have tried to do was do this on a budget…So that brings us to these really shitty watercolors.
I liked the Pencils more then the tubes…The Tubes were gross and didn’t really have a good consistency….,Especially when water was added…
In the end, I would save my money, and buy better quality…if you needed something for younger artist, then this would be a cheap product, but I think you are much better getting the generic 48 color paint sets with the round cakes….It what I started with and what I’m basing most of my experience on…
As these Vids progress you will see me trying more and more expensive supplies…but for now…this is the cheapest I could find…
I used Dugato Squirrel Hair Brushes and Cranson Paper from Michaels.
