Haligtree Canopy is a location I reached pretty much towards the end of the game, after I've defeated many big bosses and explored most of the world map. Initially I thought this location was super hard as you are on treetops and one misstep you'll fall to death.

However, after getting used to it, it is actually quite easy to farm runes. Most of the enemies you can either easily defeat through melee combat or ranged shots. As a mage especially, the Loretta Greatbow is a great skill that will allow you to one shot enemies far away on tree tops. I also used Rock Sling a few times to land enemies that were on tree branches below me.

As you can see in the video I gained 80,000 runes in about 7 minutes. This was without trying to speed things up. If I do things really quickly I reckon I can get that down to about 5 minutes. Enjoy the extra runes!
