Eastenders - Junior Roberts demonstrates the smashing Amstrad port of Blasteroids by Atari Games
0Owing to his dad, Darren, being a criminal scumbag and his mum AWOL, Junior lives with aunt, Carmel Roberts (and half sister, Aisha). Matthew Jackson, Carmel's new husband, is the stereotypical nasty stepdad, so naturally clashes with strong-minded, opinionated Junior.
When not abusing Junior's substitute mother, Matthew can occasionally be seen behaving vaguely human (or at least pretending, to curry favour). In one such instance, the Jekyll and Hyde wannabe buys Junior a copy of the Asteroids sequel of a sequel, Blasteroids, for his Amstrad CPC. Happy days, escapism etc. ensues.
But there's a but of course. There's always a but. But, by the end of the episode, Matthew is back in Junior's bad books and Blasteroids bares the brunt of his frustration.
