This easy redstone tutorial will show you how to set up an automatic wool farm for all 16 colours of wool!
Did you know Dispenser can shear sheep? In this video we set up a series of shearing stations where the shears are activated by the sheep eating grass to re-grow their wool - making sure the sheep are sheared instantly, so wool can be farmed with maximum efficiency.
Aside from simply being used as a building block or crafted into carpet, wool has many unexpected uses - from muffling the player's footsteps in a Deep Dark biome or Ancient City, to crafting explosive beds for the Nether! My plans for wool are a little different for now, but this will be a great early game farm for our Minecraft world.
