26Fast easy bubble elevator for minecraft no need to mess around with kelp or water buckets.
All you need is a pick with silk touch to get the ice blocks. Another pick with no silk touch or just punch the ice blocks to break them. If you are doing a very long elevator respiration on your helmet or drinking some water breathing potion would help. This is a great way for long elevators as you don't have to mess around with the kelp and wait for it to grow then remove it all at the end. It will be up and running as soon as you break all the ice.
