Here's a Minecraft tutorial of a spider farm I designed with the knowledge of a creeper farm. You don't need a mob spawner for this spider farm as it works with naturally spawned spiders.


NOTICE:


1. The mechanics for this inside of bedrock edition of minecraft are different, it will most likely still work if the player is 20-40 blocks away from the spawning area.

2. THIS FARM IS NOT FULLY AFK , but you will be guaranteed +/ -576 string within 3 hours if done correctly.


The main issue regarding the farm is the golem getting killed by mobs spawning in the golem's area, easy fix would be to replace the slabs with dirt and adding mushrooms ontop.


There is no easy fix to the spiders hitting the golem over time, the best fix is to heal the golem after 1-4 hours of afking using iron bars, the spiders' hitboxes are scuffed and will hit the golem through the fences

also you only need 1 hopper, not 10


but hey free string without a spawner :)







(ANOTHER OPTION) you can build this farm in the air and instead of having a collection system, you can let the spiders fall down into water where you can use them for a xp farm. This is the afk version
