Easy way to check 4K, HDR & Spatial Audio on Xbox One X
320Hi, this video shows you a very easy way to check for 4K, HDR (High Dynamic Range) and Spatial Audio (Virtual Surround Sound Object Based Audio).
By downloading the 'Insects' demo (experience) for free from the Xbox store you can easily toggle on and off these features so you can see/hear a real time change instantly.
Insects was built to show off these features so they will be more pronounced than what you will see in real games. It would be better to see the difference in an actual game like Forza 7 but it is very hard to show the differences in Forza 7 because by the time you have changed the settings in the Xbox menu your eyes and ears have already adjusted while in Insects the change happens instantly in front of you so you can detect it better.
The last part of the video shows you the settings you need to change to allow you to have these features. So if you do not have an option to toggle HDR or Spatial Audio on and off on Insects then you may not have it enabled so hopefully the last part will help.
