A 3rd-person, cover-based shooter released in 2009 for the Xbox 360 & PS3, Eat Lead is fun. It's off-the-wall, cheezy, contains dumb humor, sometimes clumsy controls & game mechanics, cheap A.I. with equally cheap movements, frustrating boss battles & lotsa cheap deaths. But despite all that it still appeals to me like it did years ago. There's enough level variety, weapon variety, enemy variety, humor and even special powers to keep any shooter fan satisfied throughout. Challenge? Yes, especially on the higher difficulty levels. Expect to die -- at least several times. Eat Lead can be rage-inducing.
