"Eating eggs will shorten your life!" reads a ridiculous article that went online this week, and no, it's not true. It's one of these fitness stories that's done to put the fear of everything into you as you think a very popular and healthy food that you definitely have in your house isn't good for you. IT IS!

When it comes to cholesterol and fat, though - yes - the yolks in egg can cause this, but that's not exclusive to eggs. That's many, many foods and of course comes down to over-eating and not being HEALTHY! And that's the key. If you take care of yourself and eat a balanced diet you can eat as many eggs that you want... within reason. If you're eating 20 whole eggs a day then something is very wrong. No one on planet Earth isn't aware of this.

Not everyone will cotton onto this, however, and will run to their kitchen and chuck their eggs because hyperbole and sensationalism run riot in the mainstream fitness world. It winds me up... hence my rant!
