Indie developer Steve Gabry presented the first part of his work, Sally Face, on December 14, 2016. Released as an episodic game, there are currently four episodes, the latest released on November 29, 2018. A type of sidescroller point-and-click game, Sally Face's greatest mysteries might not be the once the titular character solves, but the game's protagonist himself.
Controls are A and D to move (left and right), while W and S navigate menus (up and down). Q opens Sal's inventory, F (or Spacebar) interacts (when text is displayed), and Esc pauses the game.
A boy with a tragic past wears a prosthetic face. The mockery and derision he received over time has made him apathetic to the negative opinions of others. Consequently, his appearance and attitude are unconventional. But it may just be these very things that makes him an effective detective when the police fail to solve certain cases.
