This is an old interview with Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat, on CNN's "The Biz" segment after the release of Mortal Kombat: Deception in 2004. Believe it or not, Deception was the first 3D fighting game to feature online play, and in the interview Boon discusses how that was a big deal given the arcade scene was dying out. They also discuss some of Mortal Kombat's history and the other modes they introduced in the game.
