Here we have the third RPG I was watching for this year, which is the one that has yet to be completed. Either due to design or lack of polish, it poses more of a challenge than some of the others out there, which may cause a bit of a problem with people as one of the early puzzles doesn't happen to have any clues to solve it and is also glitchy. With a somewhat slow start at the moment, I also see that working against it.

On the plus side however, we do have a strategic battle system that gives weight to positioning through stat boosts, regeneration, or just being able to surround and beat down troublesome targets. While the graphics are not exactly cutting edge, they are still above normal indie JRPG fare, plus it is even voice acted. With these traits to fall back on, I think some of the weaknesses I've seen already can be remedied with a little bit of tweaking. Additionally, this is probably the only JRPG I've seen that supports modding, so we'll have to see what the community comes up with as time goes on.

Currently, the game is being sold for a discounted price that is supposed to raise with every addition from the devs. It is not complete yet in that you can't reach the final boss, so it is up to you if you want to pick it up now knowing that there will be periodic installments added while you can't complete the story. I highly doubt this will be discounted further in the impending Steam winter sale, so if you like what you see, there isn't much advantage to waiting. I'll try to get as far as I can in the mean time, so more information is at your disposal.
