We are into September 1 and we start off by storing the hay and flax bales from the last episode in the cattle barn. We feed the cows some hay to keep them ticking over until we harvest the oats and be able to make a custom TMR mix with Oats and hay for the cows.

Then we make a start on the large oat field using the Case IH Swather, JD 9870 STS attached to a pick up header, Demco 22 series grain cart behind the Case 8950 tractor.

We unload the oats into the grain cart and then in to the Randon bulk carrier to transport the oats back to the farm to store in the large grain bin using Augers.

We will bale up all the straw in the next episode and start on custom TMR mixtures with the oats hay and straw. I hope you enjoy the episode and thanks for watching 👍
