Welcome to Canada and to our cattle farm on Edgewater Saskatchewan. We start off the episode by having a quick look at the equipment and around the farm. Then we get straight into action by mowing grass with the new Case Swather attached to a Razor bar 16' + twin max conditioner which conditions the hay and removes the need for tedding. We then make hay bales with the Krone Comprima F155.

As we now have hay for cow feed, we purchase 30 brown swiss-cows and 30 brown-swiss calves and add some hay to the bale feeder.

We then move onto double swathing the wheat and flax which makes it much faster for picking up the crop with the pick up header attached to the John Deere 9870 STS harvester.

We unload the harvester Into the Randon bulk carrier and then tip the wheat and flax into the crop grain bins using the augers.

When the harvesting is done we make flax straw bales using the JD 100 square baler. After that we load up the round hay bales using a bale fork attached to the Case 8950 front loader. Then we load up the Flax straw bales using the Massy Ferguson 711 skid steer.

We bring the bales back to the cowshed using the Mack Superliner and will be stored for using custom TMR mixtures and straw bedding for the cows in the next episode.
