Have you ever needed to modify geometry that is deeply nested within a SketchUp model? If that item is a component, you can use the modifier key to move a copy of that object out of the model to edit it. Since it is a component, that object is automatically updated within your model so you can delete the copy and continue on with finalizing your SketchUp model!
