EeveeonE - Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack Instrumental Metal Cover
Made using EZ Drummer 2 Demo
Obviously this song doesn't belong to me, I am not profiting off it. I'm just making this because of my love for music and this song.
Return of the Mack has a place in my heart. It's one of those songs you hear on the radio and think, ''wow, this sounds good'', all the way through it. It's so simple and so melodic that it just works. I've never heard any other song like this. It's so unique. One time I was listening to this song on a trip in a convertible (One of my family owned it), and this song blasted through the speakers.
To honour it, and out of curiosity, I made a metal cover of it, which actually, doesn't sound too bad to me?
I was going to cover the full version, which is this: https://youtu.be/C-5nist-qeQ but I couldn't find a midi or sheet music for it, and I did try to learn it, but I'm not good at hearing. I have tinnitus I think, it sort of stops me from hearing notes clearly. Overall, I'm happy with this cover. It turned out better than expected. My solos and transitions need work, I can't fix it with my current experience.
For my Music, I use an old version of Tux Guitar to write.
FL Studio as my DAW.
Kontakt Player using Shreddage Instruments, UmanskyBass, The Maverick, and Stradavari Violin. SWAM Violin too. And sometimes Guitar Rig 5 or STL Tonehub to process.
Also may use: Heavier7Strings
And finally Perfect Drums Player by Naughty Seal Audio.
Nucleus Orchestra Lite
Free VSTs I use include Sonatina Orchestra and DSK Sounds.
