In this demonstration, I send 30 glaives in to attack an array of 15 lotus turrets.
The first time, I give the glaives a normal area attack command where they queue each target and perform a joint attack in sequence against all of them.
The second time, I give the glaives a divided area attack command by holding down CTRL after pressing F. The glaives then split up and attack as many turrets simultaneously as possible.
The difference between these two patterns is startling. When group-attacking one turret at a time, the glaives are wiped out quickly. When dividing the attack, they massacre the turrets with several glaives to spare.
