eFootball 2022 going offline for four days at end of month in preparation for Season 2
‘eFootball 2022’ will undergo a maintenance period of four days in preparation for Season 2, Konami has announced.
In a post on the official eFootball Twitter account, Konami informed players about the upcoming downtime at the end of the month.
Konami explained: “The events and campaigns for SEASON 1 have come to an end, and today marks the start of the pre-season period for SEASON 2.
“Version 1.1.0 update will include improvements of win/loss decision-making in online matches, enhancements of server capacity and preparation for future initiatives such as data sharing between console and mobile. The maintenance period will be from 30th May to 2nd June.”
Konami continued to reveal that during the maintenance period, trial matches with some leagues and clubs will still be playable, with 2 new options added to trial matches: “beginner” difficulty level and “10 mins” match time.
The publisher concluded its post by stating that after the maintenance has completed, Season 2 will begin on 16th June and will be “accompanied by various in-game events”.
