Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Japan. A distant country with unique traditions. For centuries, exactly nothing was known about the state in the East. Shoguns, samurai, emperor's men fought for honor and fought a desperate battle for survival. The player finds himself in the fictional world of Allraan in the midst of a brutal war. Your task is to save the country from destruction and end the internecine strife.
The side that makes the best use of the "runic" lenses has the advantage in the war. These objects are used in martial arts and by wizards. The Galdaean Empire has found a way to enhance the power of the lenses and has pushed the other Allraans to the brink of survival.

To win, the Imperials lack an artifact lost somewhere on the continent. With its acquisition, the Galdeans will conquer the world and establish eternal rule.
The user will have to prevent the Galdaean empire to find the artifact. The player controls the young imperial officer Sein Casling, whose inner world was turned upside down after a meeting with a simple boy from the backwater settlement of Nova. The characters' views change as the story progresses. Now, the good that they previously carried, appears to them as evil.
