Elden Ring BLIND Playthrough (Pt 38) - So much to do even outside the Capital!
0Wanting to cover everything before I went into Leyndell, checked around the outside before getting into the actual Capital. Only a minute in, an Ulcerated Tree Spirit falls from the sky and I move in on it. About 20 minutes in, I decided to use some of my Runes to upgrade my new Spirit Ashes Dolores before I found out I couldn't equip another Spirit Ash in my bottom slot. I go to check on Fia and didn't expect a boss battle against Lichdragon Fortissax, which I kinda regret as I used Tiche Spirit Ashes and it did most of the work for me.
At 42 minutes in, I get into the Sealed Tunnel and battle the Onyx Lord at around the 1 hour mark - I do go through the cave a few times over to try to get some items I missed. I explore more of the outskirts of the Capital for awhile also, finding some of the Windmill villages and at 2:38:00, I come across a Godskin Apostle.
Going back to the Capital Outskirts, I finally head up the stairs and get swooped down predictably by a Gargoyle at 2:51:00 (it takes me a few tries). Of course, following the stairs, I veer off towards the upper portion towards the Minor Erdtree. Surprisingly, no tree spirit or avatar here. I then make my way over to one of the walls towards Leyndell and encounter the Draconic Tree Sentinel at 3:37:35 - this takes me a few tries and I get it at around 3:45:00 area.
Before going into Leyndell, I did notice a lower area to explore, so I head into Auriza Hero's Grave at roughly 4:04:00. With some headache dealing with the chariots, I make it to the boss room, fighting 2 Crucible Knights at roughly 4:35:00 (takes me a few tries - about 4:42:00). I move over to the Auriza Side Tomb at around 4:47:00 - having been through multiple tombs/catacombs and them having somewhat similar layouts, I didn't expect a more unique layout that required teleporting around different areas. I'm guessing the game actually created a parallel tomb with similar layouts for this more puzzling tomb. Regardless, make it to the Grave Warden Duelist at 5:12:00.
